2020-2022

Introducing a revolutionary new Android & iOS mobile browser — the result of countless iterations and refinements from our journey with Popshot, a social media app built around sharing content via smart screenshots. In collaboration with a team across France and India, we've created a browser that reimagines the mobile browsing experience, breaking free from the limitations of today's options.

This browser is the first of its kind to feature live chat directly over the content you're browsing, along with new interactions that transform how you engage with the web.

CHAT INTO BROWSING EXPERIENCE

Creating Wave was like navigating a tight, crowded highway dominated by the big browsers, which have pretty much cornered the market and left little room for newcomers. Our mission with Wave was to blend interactions from different realms into one tool. It’s a mix so familiar and intuitive that it made us wonder why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?

CHAT BAR QUEST 2.0

While developing the Chat Bar, I've explored a wide range of possibilities to find the most, seamless and adaptable solution; one that keeps up with the ever-changing landscape of web browsing.

While implementing the Chat Bar I've been exploring many ways of solving the problem of the overlay interaction on a browing enviroment, taking all the possibilities, prototyping them to make sure we've selected the best possible version, based on an ever changing browsing environment. These are some of the explorations that lead us to the final version.

LOGO

The WAVE brand evolved through a series of iterations, exploring various names but always with the same purpose: to be bold, simple, and to stand out from the competition. We began with the straightforward "Webchat" before arriving at a name that encapsulates both the dynamic flow of chat threads and the endless, ever-shifting nature of internet browsing.

Wave was launched in India in 2019 and reached 1 million downloads within just six months.

Wave, your private broswer was launched in India in the year 2019, and have reach 2 Millon downloads in 6 months.

Wave was an incredible journey that came to an end during the pandemic. Even though the project is no longer active, it's still the browser I continue to use. We set out on a mission to bring an unique-and-very-useful twist to the usual approach, and in the end, we feel we succeeded, knowing and testing the product quality and the robust technology that powered it through our daily life.
